Mont-Olivet School : learning is for life

Mont-Olivet School is a private multilingual school in Vich, between Nyon and Gland, that promotes the development and success of your child.

From Preschool to the Maturity Diploma

From the start of the school year in 2024, Mont-Olivet School will be the only private school in the La Côte region of Vaud to offer a complete education from Preschool to the Maturity Diploma, guaranteeing stability and harmonious development for your child.

Our Mission

The school’s mission is to link healthy academic ambition with the harmonious personal development of our students, by promoting a balance between academic, sporting and artistic activities.

A multilingual curriculum

Knowledge of languages is an important aspect of the learning promoted by the school’s teachers, throughout our programmes of study. German is taught from Preschool (3 years old) and English from 1P (4 years old). German and English are taught exclusively by teachers who are native speakers.

Quality teaching

Our academic mission is carried out by enthusiastic, committed and well-trained teachers. Reasonable class sizes ensure quality teaching and optimal supervision.

An innovative school

Our school has entered into a long-term partnership with the Swiss Judo and Ju-Jitsu Federation and has created its own judo club, Mont-Olivet Judo, which is open to both our students and external members. This ambitious and innovative project affirms our common values with judo: respect, politeness, courage, sincerity, modesty, friendship and perseverance.

Wrap-around care

To help our families’ organisation, Mont-Olivet School welcomes students from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm (Wednesday 5 pm) and offers a complete service provided by our enthusiastic and qualified team.

A peaceful environment

Mont-Olivet School is ideally located in the heart of the La Côte region of Vaud in a peaceful haven, between town and countryside. The classrooms extend into natural gardens, providing a calm and studious environment.

Discover Mont-Olivet School through the testimonials of parents.

“At Mont-Olivet, your children learn in an interactive, creative and outward-looking environment. The academic standards are excellent, but what makes the school unique is the attention given to the development of their personality and confidence. Step by step, your children grow in a caring environment and are encouraged to become the best version of themselves.”

Cécile et Nicolas Vidal, parents of 4P and 6P students

“I entrusted Mont Olivet with the education of my two children since the school shared my same values and principles combined with a solid long history of Swiss education, an international aperture (pluri-lingual) with unique infrastructures (only private school in la cote with gym, cafeteria, bus transport, next to forest) and extracurricular activities. I appreciate enormously the frame, the individual follow-up of my children and the innovative approach of personal development through judo. Thank you! Proud to be part of the Mont Olivet community!”

Mrs Perez, mother of 2P and 7P students

« Mont-Olivet School provides us with flexibility and precious comfort by bringing together school, childcare and extracurricular activities under one roof. The schooling of our two children is therefore greatly facilitated. The very practical infrastructure and the human scale of the institution immediately appealed to us. The teachers and management are always accessible, very attentive and above all, responsive! The early learning of languages through immersion is a major asset for our children, who evolve in a multicultural environment. »

    Fabienne & Philippe R.

“The challenging curriculum is taught in a nurturing and wonderful environment. We attribute this to the exemplary teaching and community feel of the school. The teachers are outstanding, caring and have the best of each individual student in mind. We are delighted that our two sons will continue to thrive at Mont-Olivet. »

    Sylvén family

“Our two children, aged 8 and 5, have been attending Mont-Olivet School for two years now. This school is a real paradise for younger and older students. Whether it is the teaching staff, the logistics team, or the management, all are welcoming, warm and caring, both towards the children and towards the parents. It is a place where we like to go to participate in the life of the school, in the events, and also on a daily basis just to say hello, to meet the teachers. Moreover, the children are delighted to have recently learned that they will be able to finish their schooling at this school until they obtain their Swiss Maturity Diploma, as they would not want to change for anything in the world.”
